„On Luther’s footsteps

through Rodachtal”

Welcome to Luther 2017

In 2017, it will be 500 years since Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the wall. Martin Luther lived at Veste (fortress) Coburg for several months in 1530, during which time he worked on his bible translation and delivered several sermons in the parish church. Landgasthof Wacker is an excellent starting point for experiencing many highlights such as the Bavarian state exhibition at Veste Coburg, entitled “Ritter, Bauern, Lutheraner”, organ hikes through the stunning Coburg region, concerts and events. Benefits: 3 nights’ accommodation and breakfast, 2 x three-course evening meal, “Luther in Coburg” booklet, 1 x entry and state exhibition “Ritter, Bauern, Lutheraner”, a “feel-good wellness day” with day pass and feel-good aromatherapy massage at ThermeNatur.
